Special parts of the project:

This wonderful two story town home was ready for a fresh start.  We were so lucky to have the opportunity to work with the client in finally making this her “home”.  After meeting with the client it was clear that she wanted a clean overall look that was not going to lock her into a set style.  So we presented her a color layout of light gray walls and cabinets, multi toned floors in browns and grays,  and pops of whites finished off by new light fixtures.  We stared the project by replacing all of the flooring on the main floor with an LVT in multi plank widths with lots of tone variations.  We then removed the stair carpet and added wood end caps as well as new iron balusters, and a new stair runner carpet in a geometric pattern of grays and whites.  In the kitchen we decided to remove all of the existing cabinetry and replace it with a gray shaker panel cabinets.  This allowed us to add in additional cabinets that can be used for a buffet or extra prep space.  We topped off these new cabinets with a gorgeous fantasy brown granite, and finished the look with a carrara marble subway tile for the back splash.  The kitchen then got all new stainless steel appliances as well as a beautiful stainless steel farmhouse sink.  Next, we removed all the builder grade tile from the fireplace surround and added new white and gray ledge stone panels providing an added layer of texture to the space.  We then repainted all of the walls throughout the town home as well as repainting all of the white trim for a fresh new look.  Not to mention glazing all of the wood handrails and end caps on the staircase to draw out the dark tones in the flooring.  Lastly, we removed all of the builder grade light fixtures and replaced them with new modern light fixtures that create interest in each of the rooms.
