This project was fun from the standpoint of the overall design. It allowed us to bring in a variety of woods to create different textures throughout the basement. Notice the barn wood on the back wall also transfers to the ceiling above the bar.

Another unique feature of this basement was the bar. We used old whiskey barrels to make the shelves on the back wall. We also brought in a butcher block top for the counters instead of a traditional stone top. And finally, the concrete floors were top coated and stained to create a warm base below your feet.
